Caterpillars and Butterflies
|
This caterpillars and butterflies unit is perfect for spring! Some activities were
created to go along with The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Inside the
hand-painted canvas bag, you will find nine educational activities from various
areas of the curriculum. As always, activities are printed on cardstock,
laminated in three mil. thick laminating pouches, cut out and ready to use.
Included:
1. Hand-painted bag featuring a cute caterpillar (You can choose the title or
caption you want on the bag).
2. Alphabet Sequencing: Fill in the missing letters in the Alphabet sequence
caterpillars. One side is uppercase and the other side is lowercase.
3. Days of the Week Ordering: Put the days of the week cards in the correct
order.
4. Healthy or Not?: Sort out the foods according to whether they are healthy or
unhealthy.
5. Story Sequencing: Put the food items on the day of the week cards to show
what day the caterpillar ate each food. (Use the food cutouts and the days of
the week cards.)
6. Butterfly Life Cycle: Put the life cycle cards in order to show the life cycle of
a butterfly.
7. Initial Sounds: Match the picture to the consonant or consonant blend you
