For sale is a teacher created literacy bag to help your students with learning about
Nouns and Verbs. Inside this literacy / skills bag, you will find 8 educational
activities focused on nouns, verbs, common nouns, proper nouns, and verb tense.

are printed on card stock and laminated in three mil. laminating pouches for extra

1. Hand-painted Canvas Bag
2. Three Way Matching cards:
3 sets of cards: one set with a picture of someone doing something, one set with
verbs and one set with nouns. Students match each picture card with the verb
card that shows what action is being done and then with a noun card that gives the
name of something in that picture.
3. Word Sort:
Students sort the word tile cards according to whether they are nouns or verbs
4. Complete the Sentence:
Students fill in the blanks of the sentences with the noun and verb word tile cards
to
create a sentence that makes sense
5. Common and Proper Nouns:
Students draw a line to match the proper noun with it's common noun
6. Verbs-Past or Present:
Students fill in the missing verbs on the chart
7. Lights Camera Action! Verb Charades:
Students draw a Charades card and act out that verb while others try to guess the
word
8. Noun or Verb board game:
Students draw a card that says either common noun, proper noun, or verb and
move their token to the next space on the game board that has a word that fits that
category
9. Create a Sentence:
