MOUSE PAINT
This fun literacy bag is based on the color book by Ellen Stoll-Walsh.  Inside
the hand-painted canvas bag you will find eight
teacher-created educational
activities.   All activities are printed on quality cardstock, laminated in three
mil thick laminating film, cut out and ready to use.

Included:

1.  Hand-painted canvas bag featuring the mice

2.  Using the modeling clay, roll two small balls of each color.  Combine two
different balls together to create a new (secondary) color. (includes modeling
clay)

3.  Look at the pictures printed in black and white.  Put them on the paint can
that shows the color they should be.

4.  Match the paint brush with the color word to the correct can of paint.

5.  Color each section of the rainbow the color listed in Spanish.  Cut it out and
match it to the correct English color word on the laminated rainbow page.

6.  Look at a rainbow or a picture of a rainbow and name all the different colors
you see.

7.  Match the rhyming word pairs together.  The color words on on the mice
and their rhyming partners are on the paint palettes.

8.  Add a letter tile to the line in front of each word ending to make a new word
for that family.  Try to make at least four words for each family.  Write your
new words on a piece of paper.

9.  Mix food colors into white milk, cottage cheese, frosting, etc., and make a
new color.

10 .  Activity Letter:  Explains how to do each activity.
