This cute literacy bag is based on the book Cookie's Week by Cindy
Ward and Tomie DePaola. Inside the hand-painted canvas bag, you
will find EIGHT teacher-created educational activities from different
areas of the curriculum. Activities are printed on quality card stock,
laminated in thick laminating pouches, cut out and ready to use.

2. Letter Matching--Match the cat cards with the uppercase letters to
their lowercase letter partners.
3. Days of the Week--Put the cards with the days of the week in their
correct order.
4. Story Sequencing Cards--Match the pictures cards to the days of
the week cards to show what happened during Cookie's week.
5. Abbreviations--Match the days of the week cards with their
correct abbreviations.
6. -at Word Family Pull Through--Practice reading the words in the
-at family by sliding the letter strips through the cat to make the
words.
7. Cat Count--Count the cats in each row of the wipe off cat count
page. Write the number at the end of the row. When you have
finished, turn it over and do the other side.
8. Creative Writing--Write what you think Cookie did on Sunday.
Draw a picture to go with it.
9. Cat Sort and Graph--Sort out the cat cut outs, count them and
complete the bar graph.
