Join the CIRCUS! This is a fun-filled and educational circus themed literacy
bag. Inside this cute bag you will find six learning activities! Everything is
laminated in 3 mil laminating film for extra durability, cut out and ready to
send home!
1. Elephant subtraction--match the ball with the subtraction problem (which
the elephant is balancing on) to the elephant with the correct difference. (You
could let me know what kind of subtraction single digit, double digit, double
digit w. regrouping, etc.)
2. Color word Matching--Put the correct color ball on the color word seal's
nose (this could be made into an inital or ending sound activity (ie: a picture
on the seal and the correct missing letter on the ball)
3. Number Word/Number Matching--Put the animal or clown with the number
on top of the circus train car with the correct number word (You can choose
the number range--maybe tens, twenty, thirty, etc.)
4. Hundreds Chart Picture-- Color in the given number on the hundreds chart
to create a surprise circus picture.
5. Draw a Rhyme-Have a parent read each stanza of the Draw a Rhyme poem,
leaving out the last word. Guess what the last word should be. Follow the
directions given to draw each part of the clown.
6. Clown Compare and Contrast--Choose two of the four clowns and find four
things about them that are alike and four things that are different.
