Students will love "monkeying around" with this fun literacy bag based on the
book Caps for Sale. This bag is a great addition to your literacy bag collection.
As always, activities are in full color on quality cardstock, are laminated in thick
3 mil. laminating film, cut out and ready to go.
1. LARGE CANVAS BAG
featuring the monkey filled tree and the caps they took
2. HAT GRAPHING
Students sort out the monkeys wearing the different types of hats and graph
then on the wipe off graph
3. MONKEYS WITH HATS PATTERNING
Students use the monkeys from the graphing activity to make patterns
4. CAP WORD PULL THROUGH
Students create words from the -ap family using the cap shaped pull through
5. WHO WEARS IT?
Matching wipe off where students match the hats to the people that wear them
6. ADD A VOWEL
Add the missing vowel to create the word that matches the picture
7. CAP ADDITION
Students solve the cap picture addition sentences
