| AMAZING AFRICA |
AMAZING AFRICA is from my AROUND THE WORLD SERIES. All activities on
this cd-rom are TEACHER-CREATED and are in PDF format so they can be
used with both PCs and Macs.
Activities included:
1. ABC Order of African Countries --Put the African countries in alphabetical
order. (There are three sets of five so each set can be used individually for an
easier level or combined to make it more challenging. Each set has a different
color Africa picture on it.)
2. The Lay of the Land--Students use the geographic map of Africa to find the
answers to the question cards and then match them to the correct answer card
3. African Animal BINGO game (2 cards for each bag and the caller cards)
4. How many People?--Students put the top ten most populated African
countries in numerical order from largest to smallest
5. Tribal Mask Matching game
6. African song list w/ words in English
7. Venn Diagram: Compare your country with what your know about Africa
8. Division Drums--Division problems on Africa drums
9. African Dwellings--Students read the page about different types of homes
found in Africa and use the descriptions to draw one
10. Geographical map coloring by number--Students complete the color by
number map according to the key so they have a visual of the types of land
found in Africa
